2006 Clarinetist of the Year Award Jazz Journalists Association
A yearly honor bestowed by the Jazz Journalists Association, a professional organization of leading jazz journalists, acknowledging the achievements of jazz musicians, recordings, labels, producers, concert presenters, authors, broadcasters, photographers, and other new media outlets. This is the second time Paquito D’Rivera has been awarded this recognition (first awarded in 2004).
