On April 5, 2017, the Harmony Program presented Paquito D’Rivera the “Harmony Program Award” at their Spring Gala. The award is in recognition “for his musical achievements and for his dedication to fostering the musical aspirations of others.”
The Gala was emceed by WQXR host, Terrance McKnight, and held at Tribeca Rooftop in New York City. In addition to the award presentation, the evening included live music by some of the city’s top musicians in celebration of the vital role music plays in shaping our communities and lives.
